Question:

Hello. I am looking at the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember but am having a difficult time determining whether or not I would need the MR99ZR or MR33WR model. Is there any way you could advise? I have a 2022 Keystone Cougar 316RLS 5 Wheel. Thanks in advance for your time.

Hey Rick, welcome back! If you have a stock suspension system, MORryde CRE, or SRE then you need the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR. More than likely this is what you have on your Cougar 316RLS. If you have the MORryde LRE, RE, or TRE system then correct part is the # MR99ZR.

I have a montana and use the mr33wr units. Mine came with the factory lippert road shock equalizer.

The spring hangers are the weak link in the suspension system, the MORyde X-Factor cross braces help to prevent any flexing in them. When you’re going around a corner the lateral forces applied to the hangers cause them to flex sideways which will eventually cause them to fail.
