This setup is built for real-world hauling. The Kenda Karrier ST235/85R16 radial tire carries a 10-ply rating and handles a maximum load of 3,640 lbs at 95 psi. Its M speed rating means it’s approved for up to 81 mph, so you can tow confidently on long highway runs. The matching 16" x 6" steel wheel supports up to 3,750 lbs and meets DOT specifications for safety and reliability mile after mile.
The modular steel wheel uses a 2-step finishing process with an e-coat primer and black powder coat to fight corrosion. Whether facing rain, heat, or long-term storage, this finish helps keep rust at bay and maintains a clean look that upgrades any trailer setup over the long term.
This radial design combines strength with flexibility for a stable ride at highway speeds. Its double steel belts and full nylon plies reduce rolling resistance and heat buildup, which extends tread life. The computer-generated tread pattern and premium rubber compound give solid traction whether the pavement is dry or wet.
Skip the hassle of mounting. The Kenda Karrier tire comes pre-mounted on its black mod wheel so it’s ready to bolt on as soon as it arrives. The assembly weighs about 65 lbs, has a bolt pattern of 8 on 6-1/2", a 4.9" pilot diameter, and zero offset—making it straightforward to install as a single replacement or a matched set.
Kenda backs this tire with a one-year worry-free guarantee. If the tire is damaged in any way during the first 12 months, it’ll be replaced at no charge, giving you added confidence when hitting the road.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

The Kenda tire was installed on my equipment trailer and has endured over 10,600 miles flawlessly and no signs of wear from the heat of AZ sun. I’m usually moving 10-12K machine on a daily basis. When it comes time to replace I’ll be looking for a set of these tires again.

This wheel and tire package worked out perfectly and when they need to be replaced I will order them again. Tires are holding up great, no cracking or abnormal wear. Very satisfied.
