Question:

Good morning, I need to replace the Velcro strips on my 6 1/2foot Tuxedo Low Pro QT bed cover. After watching U-Tube and looking over the specification of the replacement Velcro that you offer, Im a little confused on what replacement product I require. My current bed rail velco does NOT glue down but IS slightly less than 1. My entire rail width is only 1 1/8inch and the length is 78 3/4. The velco strip is loose in the rail and merely attached with a few pins. Im fearful that the 1 5/16inch replacement that you offer will not fit and Im leery to purchase the glue on style. Unfortunately, I cant locate a model/serial number of the cover. Any suggestions?

The TruXedo Shur-Bond Replacement Velcro # TX1115174 does fit the Lo Pro QT tonneau covers but measures more than 1-inch wide; it is 1-5/16-inches in width and 80-inches long. This slides into the cover's rail. We also have a screw-on Velcro strip kit for older Lo Pro QT covers, part # TX1117876.

Usually tonneau cover part numbers will appear on the underside of the tarp portion, near the tailgate end of the truck. Often a date code is included which also helps confirm correct replacement parts like Velcro strips. Please feel free to tell me any such information you can find on your cover (and your vehicle info) and I will be glad to confirm with TruXedo which part you need.
