Replacement TruXedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fasteners

Question:
i have truxedo soft cover. numbers on the cover 5781 02 18 10. i measured the velcro strip, it measures 1 1/4, but when i put in the cover number, it pulls up 1 5/16. which is correct size. i ordered the one inch and it is too small.

Hi Johnny! The 1-5/16" Replacement TruXedo Shur-Bond Fastener # TX1115174 is the one you need. The 1-5/16" measurement is the overall width of the plastic backing that slides into the rail, rather than just the hook-and-loop portion you're measuring at approximately 1-1/4". This also explains why the 1" replacement you ordered was too narrow.

I have a 2018 GMC 3500 Single wheel . I replaced mine with TX1115174 Replacement TruXedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fasteners for 6-1/2' Beds -1-5/16". It was pretty simple just had to trim a little bit slid old one out a new one in. Should've done this long before. It fixed the problem of my covers Velcro always coming loose.
