Today we're going to be taking a look at the Replacement Truxedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fasteners for six and a half foot beds. These strips are going to replace the Velcro Brand fasteners on your Truxedo Lo Pro QT, and the original Truxedo Edge Tonneau Covers. They slide easily into the rails for an easy installation, so no adhesive backing, they just slide in. They're going to provide a nice, tight, secure fit. Again, a quick and easy install. You will notice that in the packaging, you're going to find three drive rivets. These are included.
These are only to be used when installing the Shur-Bond strips on the original Truxedo Edge Tonneau Cover, so you do not need to use these for the Truxedo Lo Pro QT. Each strip is going to measure eighty inches long. The overall width is one and five sixteenths of an inch wide. The actual Velcro portion measures one inch wide. You're going to get two Velcro Brand fasteners, both are included, and please keep in mind that the fastener is designed to replace the hook piece, which attaches the Tonneau cover to the truck rails. The mating loop piece, the piece that mates to this, is already attached on your Tonneau cover. That's going to do it for today's look at the Replacement Truxedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fasteners..

Easy install. If you're considering replacing these, one of my end caps disintegrated suring removal, so be careful durning removal. Strips needed a small trim, but other than that they worked like a charm. Top is now secure.
These worked perfectly. I inherited a truck that has a Tonno Pro lo roll cover. The loop part of the velcro became brittle and disintegrated in the Southwest Summer sun. The original brand does not offer replacements for that part. Additionally, most velcro brands that I found were 2" wide AND most of them had a sticky backing. My rails are about 1½" wide and as I mentioned, i am in the Southwest. So sticky back would last about an hour. These fit perfectly in my rails, had a hard plastic backing and slid right into place. I trimmed them down to size and they are absolutely perfect. Very rugged loop claws. I imagine they will hold up very nicely in the Summers to come.
Works great on my tonopro low roll cover. Kind of tight for the metal track. But still worked great.

Ordered replacement Velcro for my TruXedo topper, after a e-mail to customer service to verify part number. My order arrived in 2 days with standard shipping, replacing the Velcro on the bed rail took about 5-6 minutes. Each piece of Velcro is a couple inches long than the rail so you can trim to fit exactly as you want. Product is working great, it's allowing me to really pull the top cover tight again and secures it just like when it was brand new! So, if you want to stop your cover from flapping in the wind as you go down the highway, order the Velcro replacement!

Velcro is still performing like new after a year!
Replacement was simple taking less than 1 minute per side. The reason for replacement of original Velcro was I replaced the cover and was lifting while driving. Cover stays taut now with no side lifting.
Worked great for my truxedo replacement on 09 Ram 1500 with Rambox
Super easy install...remove the end caps and set screws and the strips just slide in/out. You do have to 'trim to fit' but it's super easy and would rather trim then have them to short. This Velcro is WAY better than the original stuff that I replaced...huge improvement in function of the tonneau cover. Overall this saved me from purchasing a completely new cover or topper.

Still working great. I would recommend this to anyone that is frustrated with the Velcro on your tonneau cover.
The product I ordered works good and it was very easy to install. These Velcro strips fixed the problem I had holding my truxedo roll tarp in place.
Etrailer was very fast in processing my order and shippping it to me. This is the first time I ordered something from this company and I will be ordering other parts as needed.
