Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at these replacement TruXedo Shur-Bond Fasteners. Now, this is going to give you two replacement fastener strips for your TruXedo tonneau covers. So if the fastener, the hook side of the fasteners, on the truck bed rails have worn out or they've lost their grip over time, this is going to be the piece that's going to fix that problem. Again, this is designed specifically for your TruXedo tonneau cover, specifically, the Lo Pro. And this is also going to work with the original Edge cover as well.
So if you're using the original Edge or the Lo Pro, this is gonna work for you. Now, again, this replaces the hook side of the fasteners, the part that attaches to the truck side rails. The soft loop side is already sewn in on your tonneau cover, so you don't need to replace that. But once installed, this is going to allow your cover to seal tightly along the rails again. Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward, the strip slides directly into the rail on your Lo Pro and Edge models.
The strips are 80 inches long and they're about 1 5/16 inches wide. This is gonna fit your standard 6 1/2 foot long truck bed. If your bed is shorter, you can simply trim down the size of the strips. So you're gonna get these two strips, instructions are gonna guide you through the easy installation process. Previous reviews helped in telling me that this product would work for me to replace the velcro on the truck side for my "Tonno Pro LoRoll". It was a tight fit in the channel but once slid in all the way and trimmed to lenght it has been working great!
Definitely harder to install then to remove the old strips. Fits very tight which in the long run that’s what you want. I used a lubricant to help out installation
Velcro strip replacements are great! Would greatly recommend if you have ones that are dried out, flat or you want your tonneau to stay put better.
Ordered replacement Velcro for my TruXedo topper, after a e-mail to customer service to verify part number. My order arrived in 2 days with standard shipping, replacing the Velcro on the bed rail took about 5-6 minutes. Each piece of Velcro is a couple inches long than the rail so you can trim to fit exactly as you want. Product is working great, it's allowing me to really pull the top cover tight again and secures it just like when it was brand new! So, if you want to stop your cover from flapping in the wind as you go down the highway, order the Velcro replacement!
Installation was a breeze and cover is tighter than it's been in many years.

Super easy install...remove the end caps and set screws and the strips just slide in/out. You do have to 'trim to fit' but it's super easy and would rather trim then have them to short. This Velcro is WAY better than the original stuff that I replaced...huge improvement in function of the tonneau cover. Overall this saved me from purchasing a completely new cover or topper.

The product I ordered works good and it was very easy to install. These Velcro strips fixed the problem I had holding my truxedo roll tarp in place.

The Velcro is still working good even after 1 year. I haven’t had no trouble with it at all.
These worked perfectly. I inherited a truck that has a Tonno Pro lo roll cover. The loop part of the velcro became brittle and disintegrated in the Southwest Summer sun. The original brand does not offer replacements for that part. Additionally, most velcro brands that I found were 2" wide AND most of them had a sticky backing. My rails are about 1½" wide and as I mentioned, i am in the Southwest. So sticky back would last about an hour. These fit perfectly in my rails, had a hard plastic backing and slid right into place. I trimmed them down to size and they are absolutely perfect. Very rugged loop claws. I imagine they will hold up very nicely in the Summers to come.
Quality replacement parts and it took less than 5 minutes to install.
Easy install. If you're considering replacing these, one of my end caps disintegrated suring removal, so be careful durning removal. Strips needed a small trim, but other than that they worked like a charm. Top is now secure.

Sweet! Restored to like new again :) Just like it was meant to be.
Works great on my tonopro low roll cover. Kind of tight for the metal track. But still worked great.
