Today we'll be taking a look at the replacement Velcro strip for ACCESS Tonneau Covers.This is going to be the hook side only for that tonneau cover to get secured down to your truck rails. So, it installs on either side. There's enough to get this installed on your long bed trucks but then if you need to cut it down to fit your short bed, it can also do that.It has a stiff backing here so that we can get that attached and then it will . it's kind of curved right now, so you might need to let it sit out for a minute to get it to lay flat, but it's going to be compatible with the ACCESS Original, LORADO and Low Rider Tonneau Covers.Overall, it measures 17 ft long and 1 1/2 inch wide. So, you pop that out there, put my ruler over and you can see that's 1 1/2 inch wide, there.It's going to include the hook side of that Velcro strip plus four small self tapping screws. So, that will help to hold down each end of your two strips for either side of your truck.And, that's going to do it for a look at the replacement Velcro strip for ACCESS Tonneau Covers..

Was a little unsure of the size(width) I needed to order but I contacted etrailer.com via the website and they got back to me the next day. I have the original Access cover and a lot of the newer, low profile tops apparently don't use the 1 1/2" wide velcro. The A30474 part fits like a glove. Replacing it was easy, remove two small screws and old material slid right out. Used a sharp knife and cut the taper on the ends to match. New velcro slid right in the grooves. Took me <1 hr to install.
My only installation concern, temp was about 55..60 the day I did this. Haven't yet had a really warm day to see if it will expand a lot. If so, I may need to make an adjustment in the length or location of the screws
Otherwise, no concerns and the help from etrailer.com was great
These velcro strips are heavy duty and hold my tonneau cover very well. My only gripe is wishing this stuff came with it's own self adhesive backing. Because I have a LUND tonneau cover, I do not have the channel that these strips just slide and lock into. Therefore, I used 3M outdoor rated double sided tape to secure these velcro strips to my truck bed.

A year later the product still holds and remains firmly mounted with the double sided outdoor tape.
Very very easy to install and i have told others about it. Would definitely buy again

Installation was extremely easy. It took me maybe 15 minutes all together, between drilling out the old rivets, pulling the old velcro strips out and putting the new strips in. I could've put rivets back in to secure the strips in place but I got lazy and used the included screws instead.

Fantastic product. I have been dreading this project thinking I was going to need to purchase a whole new cover kit. Then I came across this extremely easy and convenient fix. Thanks to etrailer.com for having just what I needed. This literally took me less than 10 minutes to complete. You will see in the photos that i used a sharpie to mark the holes for ease of finding them with the new material in place to avoid drilling additional holes etc.. I am thrilled with the results. My tonneau cover is back to new again.
On a scale of 1-5 for ease of use, 1-super easy, skill level, 1, anybody can do it.
Tools needed: drill with Phillips head, razor knife to cut the material and a pair of pliers to pull the old hook and loop out.

It works great but I had to trim it down to 1 3/8 inch to get it to fit in my track. The only thing I can complain about is they do not have multiple sizes to fit in your tracks.But it was an easy replacement once trimmed down. Strong grip..

I ordered this for a different brand of cover, couldn't find one anywhere else. Shipping was quick. I trimmed the edge to make it fit my particular application (1-1/4, not 1-1/2) and it fed into the track nice and easy. Semi-rigid structure keeps it securely inside the track and my roll up cover is no longer floppy. I left it open a lot and the sun baked the hook side until it became brittle. This new one was easy to work with and looks great!
