Regarding your answer to a question about adapting a 594 to a 2011 Subaru Wouldnt this part also be necessary to hook up to bottom channel in tray ? S Rectangular Plate for Wheel Tray 853033302 Thule info Im looking to replace rear assembly to mount to 2006 Ford Escape factory oval racks. Much obliged

The washer plate, part # 853-0333-02 is used to position the front mount along the track of the Thule Sidearm, and you're right, it is missing from the question you were looking at.
To fully rebuild the assembly, the correct parts list is:
2 Washer Plates, part # 853-0333-02
2 Wing Nuts, part # 753-0783
2 Carriage Bolts, part # 915-068-054
1 Levelling Gasket, part # 853-7442
1 Metal Bracket, part # 853-5513
1 Clamp Bracket, part # 853-7441
You need to do this for both crossbars if you need to fully replace the mounting.
As mentioned in the other question, the XAdapt 2 kit, part # XADAPT2 is also an available kit to fit to most factory roof bars.
