Adding Curt Friction Sway Control Bar to Curt Weight Distribution Hitch

Question:
Hi, have a curt weight distribution hitch installed. No problem. I needed to raise the ball 2 inches higher, so i purchased a curt ball with 2 inch longer shank with proper ratings. I wanted to install a friction sway bar but don't know if i can with the 2 inch higher tow ball. Is there a kit? My mount is fully extended up.

The Curt Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems # 17200 may be affected by a longer shank, though you'd need to take a measurement to find out. The sway bar's attachment ball must be centered 24" straight back from the center of the coupler; if you take that measurement and there is still enough room for you to mount the attachment ball you will be find to use the friction sway control bar.
