Now, this radial tire does come pre-mounted on this 15-inch black mod steel wheel. It has a five on five-inch bolt pattern, so whether you're replacing a worn out setup or prepping a new trailer, you're gonna save time, and be able to skip the hassle of separate mounting and inflation. Now, the low-weight design of the KR53 is gonna help improve fuel economy on longer trips, and the highway-friendly tread's going to keep your trailer tracking steady and straight, so it's gonna be ideal for both short hauls and cross-country travel. So, as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped in our tire, this is an ST205/75R15. This is a Load Range D tire, meaning it has an eight-ply rating. The maximum load is 2,200 pounds at 70 PSI, and this has a speed rating of N, indicating the maximum speed of 87 miles per hour. This included black mod steel wheel features a rust-resistant powder-coat finish. It's built to handle tough conditions, trip after trip.
And the diameter of this wheel measuring bead seat to bead seat is 15 inches. The width is five inches. Our bolt pattern is five on five inches. And in case you don't know, the first number of the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
So, to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here, you simply measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two holes on the opposite side. So, from the center of this hole to the point halfway between, and that's where you'll get on this assembly, your five inches. Now, the wheel stud size is a 1/2 an inch by 20. The capacity of this wheel is 2,200 pounds. And this does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits a pilot diameter of 3.31 inches.
