Roof Rack for a 2012 Ford E-350 Passenger Van

Question:

Hello I need the part number and price for Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack. I have a 2012 E350 passenger van, would this work for my van? Please send me the info. Thank you

There are roof racks that will fit your 2012 Ford E-350, but the Swagman Roamer # S80510 you referenced is designed to work with camper or truck shells and not passenger vans, because it requires drilling into the roof and would be permanently mounted.

The roof rack I recommend for your E-350 would be the Yakima rack, which consists of round, 66" crossbars # Y00410 and Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers # Y00101, which, as the name suggests, clamp on to the rain gutters of your van. This rack can be used with accessories such as bike racks, kayak carriers and cargo boxes. It has a total weight capacity of 165 lbs, though you should refer to the owner's manual to find out the weight capacity of your roof. I also recommend using the Yakima Same Key System Lock Cores # Y07204, which will lock the rack and help secure your investment.

There is also the option of using a ladder rack, the Buyers Products Van Ladder Rack # 3371501310-3. It installs by clamping onto the rain gutters just as the Yakima rack does, and the bars have an adjustable length of 41" to 72".
