I misplaced the instructions for part #17109 Curt Spring Bar Retainer Package. Can you email them to me of tell me where to find on your website? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
To remove the retaining clips # 17109 on a Curt weight distribution system with round bars you would first remove the bottom screws holding them on. Then you would push the clips up so the wider part of the hole can slip off the top pin.
The top pin fits into the groove in the spring bar when inserted into the head. If the pins are also being replaced pull out the old ones and then insert the new ones.
To install the clips you would reverse the above process. Check out the attached picture for more info.
