Very poor visibility on the passenger side. Overall the mirrors fit well but the mirrors are too small. I ordered full replacement towing mirrors.

I love the way this conforms to the factory mirror and snaps on and off. It isn't easy and requires some strength, but it's very secure. I'd give it 5 stars, but the plastic apparatus the mirror rotates/adjusts on, including the screw tightener to increase the friction, is not a robust, long-lasting design. But hard to complain for the money.

2011 Chevrolet Suburban

These mirrors are GREAT!! Exactly what I've been looking for. The fit, adjustability, look are awesome!! They look like they are factory installed. We tow a travel trailer (now with a 2011 Suburban) and vision from the passenger side has always been a problem. I have tried others from different sources on different tow vehicles: there is no comparison and they are cheaper too!! I am so glad I found etrailer.com. Fit was perfect, snapping directly onto my factory mirrors. It was MY experience that they added some degree of additional rearward vision, but not what I expected. The driver side did add enough to make me more comfortable than without them. The passenger side seemed to make little difference. It did, however,make "objects appear closer than they are" A friend, who is a truck driver, had the same opinion. Overall, I'd say they are still a good deal for the price.

Awesome product ( I don't use that word often) I have had several truck / trailer combinations over the years with a couple different mirror extension designs. The mirrors went over the factory mirrors very easily and were very secure in place. They improved the rear vision around my travel trailer a great deal. The mirrors will be very helpful in lane changing on the road and in backing the camper into place at a campground.

2016 Chevrolet Silverado

I no longer own the 2013 truck. I now have a 2016 Silverado and I bought the KS80910 mirrors for it. The mirrors are scratching the truck mirrors where the tape is on the KS mirrors. I am trying to find something better to prevent the scratching. Other than that, I am pleased with the improved field of vision with the KS mirrors.

Hey Lisa, I would go with the Longview tow mirrors part # CTM1600 which are a fit for your 2008 GMC Sierra as long as you don't have telescoping mirrors or mirrors with chrome caps. Or if you were looking for a full mirror replacement that can telescope out for a wider view you would want the K-Source mirrors part # KS62093-94G and you'd be set.

We do have a towing mirror solution for you, but according to CIPA, the chrome cap on your mirror adds enough thickness to the mirror that the # CM10900 will not fit. This also holds true for the K-Source # KS80900 and the Longview # CTM1600, I'm sorry to say. I'd recommend using the K-Source Universal Mirror, part # KS3990. Will Heat And Turn Signal Features Work On Tow Mirrors If OEM Mirrors Do Not Have Those Functions
If the mirrors you have on your 2012 Silverado do not currently have turn signals, or heat functions, towing mirrors with those features will not be enabled. The wiring is not completed for those functions on the vehicle. If you do not have those functions but want custom towing mirrors on your truck I recommend part # KS80900. Personally I prefer CIPA stuff over K-Source. I've had to call both companies and CIPA seems to be more helpful and have tighter quality controls on the products they sell.
