Question:
I found the handle radius in the specs - thanks. Any other thoughts on using this instead of the A frame tongue jack on a 4,500 lb travel trailer? Is it geared well to lift 600 lbs? I think it would be a more stable jack than the factory one. Thanks again,

Helpful Expert Reply:
The 2500-lb-rated Square Jack # MJSQ-2500B certainly has enough capacity to lift the 600-lb tongue weight (TW) of a 4500-lb travel trailer although this particular jack is primarily intended for marine trailer applications. This jack's included bracket mounts to the side of a trailer frame that measures up to 3-inches wide and between 2- and 5-inches tall.
Since your travel trailer is an a-frame you might consider a comparably A-frame jack like the 5000-lb-rated Bulldog # TJA-5000S-B which installs at your standard a-frame jack mount. This offers more lift, 15-inches, and it can be used with a wheel # BD500245, or a footplate # JF-99, but it does not have a drop-leg feature. For a 5K a-frame jack with drop-leg and 15-inches of travel you might consider # TJDA-5000S. All a-frame jacks are linked for your review along with an article concerning jacks that may be of interest.
Any of the jacks referenced would provide easy cranking since they are all rated for much more than the actual load.
