Question:

The following two Hopkins products appear to connect to the same plug can they be used together on the same truck? Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 6foot Long - HM41158 Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System - HM50002

It is possible for you to install both the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, # HM41158, and the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System, # HM50002.

The Hopkins Smart Hitch has alternative installation instructions that bypasses using the OEM 7-way. The instructions are for an installation without OEM connecter. Since, this connector will be used to install the Hopkins 90-degree wiring harness, you will then need to use the alternative instructions to install the Smart Hitch camera.

The attached picture shows the instructions for installing without OEM connector.
