7-Way Mounting Bracket Recommendation for Use with Curt Trailer Hitch C15810
Updated 07/27/2017 | Published 07/26/2017 >
Question:
How would you relocate the plug-in hardware from the stock hitch to the curt hitch. Because I cant find any information on how or where to place the connection point and still keeping it functional and not hanging there. Thank you

The Curt hitch part # C15810 does not have a bracket built into it for mounting trailer wiring.
Since your truck has a 7-way what you'd want is a 7-way mounting bracket like part # HM48625 which will attach to the bumper of your truck and allow your 7-way to attach to it. Don't install this on the hitch though as you shouldn't ever drill into the hitch.
