Will The CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Damage My Factory Mirrors While Installing
Published 07/24/2017 >
Question:
CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side Item # CM11400 What keeps them from scratching my factory mirror when sliding them on??

Expert Reply:
The CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors part # CM11400 are designed to slide over your factory mirrors and then tighten in place using the adjustment knob once in the correct position. As the fit is rather loose until the adjustment knob has been tighten, it should not cause any damage to your factory mirrors. It addition to this feature, the mirrors come with a neoprene strip that rests against the factory mirror to further help prevent scratching.
I have attached both and installation and review video for you, to further illustrate this process.
