Do I need any additional equipment for this roof rack Y00135. I will be carrying a soft luggage carrier. Acura RDX 2017

I do have a roof rack solution for you, but the Yakima Q Towers # Y00135 that you referenced are not confirmed to fit your 2017 Acura RDX.
Although a roof rack isn't necessarily required to carry a roof cargo bag (if that is what you mean by "soft luggage carrier") some people like to have a roof rack anyway for more attachment points and to have the ability to use other accessories.
If your Acura does not have existing rails or crossbars and you would like to use the round crossbars then you will want to go with the 58" Round CrossBars # Y00409, BaseLine Towers # Y28TR, the RoundBar SL Adapters # Y03536 and the BaseClip Fit Kit # Y06148.
If instead you would like to go with Aero-style crossbars (reduce wind noise and drag) and you do not have any existing rails or crossbars then you will want to go with the JetStream Crossbars, part # Y00426 , the BaseLine Towers # Y00146, and the BaseClip Fit Kit # Y06148.
If you do have factory installed rails that run back to front then you will want the Yakima crossbars mentioned above, along with the TimberLine Towers # Y33TR.
Any of these roof rack systems can be locked by using the Yakima SKS Lock Cores # Y07204.
