Routing The Power Wire To The Vehicle Battery For A Trailer Wiring Harness

Question:

In one of the Q and A it was said a link was provided to help show where to route power from the battery to the rear of a Ford Flex, for the Curt harness # C56343 . Can you provide that documentation please? I ordered said harness from yall and will be doing the install when I receive it. Thank you

Absolutely. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56343 like many other wiring harnesses requires the power line directly from the battery to power the module and to protect your vehicle wiring from overload. Many times that wire is included in the kit, but that doesn't always make routing that wire easily understood.

I have attached the document that we put together to assist installers with routing that power cable for safety and efficiency.
