This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you the versatility to tow small campers, utility trailers, or mount bike racks and cargo carriers. With a Class III rating, it’s built for 5,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 500 lbs maximum tongue weight. This hitch is made for easy installation using a bolt-on design that connects directly to the frame. You won’t need to weld or drill—just use the included hardware kit and follow the instructions. The fully welded steel construction gives you solid strength for everyday towing. It’s finished with a gloss black powder coat layered over a protective base coat that fights rust and corrosion. Hitch was shipped quickly and came with all the hardware needed. Found out you don't actually need to drill new access holes for bolts. There are existing holes in ford flex frame that are a little farther back that work.

It definitely works but it sits really low and hits the road on occasion in certain circumstances.

Bolted right up with no modifications that is always a plus. Hitch has a good finish seam to be rust free after a year also a plus.
Great price!! Extra mounting bolts would be nice. Instructions require reusing frame bolts that have already been torqued at factory settings and shouldn't be reused as they have been weakened/stretched once. So all new fasteners would be a plus.
This trailer hitch performed like it should. The staff was very helpful.
Installation went relatively smooth. It might be worth mentioning that an 1-1/4 drill bit is needed for the installation.
It seems to hold, looks nice, took us all morning to get on the vehicle due to not having super clear instructions which was a little frustrating but we managed to figure it out.3 starts due to not having good clear instructions.

Installed easy. Took me about thirty minutes. I got the drill bit I needed from hardware store although it was not of good quality.
Knowledgeable salesman and quick delivery. Best price I could find.
At this point I have not towed my boat however, I can tell you that the installation was a breeze! The written and video directions were right on the money. Simple to follow and easy to do! The fish wire is genius!

Once you sent me the instructions for the proper hitch. It took me 30 minutes to install with only lifting the Ford Flex about 14 inches on one side.

Hitch fit perfectly. The bolt kit fit fine. The pieces of wire with coils on one end worked very well (they aided in fishing the bolts up into the frame channel).
My next hitch needs will be from etrailer!
Have been using the hitch with my motorcycle rack that I also purchased from etrailer for about a year now. No issues with anything. Love it.

Excellent. No problems whatsoever. Hardware did come with the hitch, so no problems there. Fit up good. Just had to chase some threads that werent used for anything else.
