This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you the versatility to tow small campers, utility trailers, or mount bike racks and cargo carriers. With a Class III rating, it’s built for 5,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 500 lbs maximum tongue weight. The 2" x 2" receiver opening makes it compatible with most towing and accessory setups, so you can easily swap between hauling gear or carrying bikes for your next trip.

Simplify Your Install: Bolt-On Design with No Welding Required

Excellent. No problems whatsoever. Hardware did come with the hitch, so no problems there. Fit up good. Just had to chase some threads that werent used for anything else.

by:

Fantastic service and great product, thank you!

by:

Easy installation. It just sits a little lower than I anticipated.

by:

Very fast service, quick delivery, very friendly.
Hitch was very easy to install, sit lower than I expected.

by:

Fast shipping and great customer service

by:

Hitch was shipped quickly and came with all the hardware needed. Found out you don't actually need to drill new access holes for bolts. There are existing holes in ford flex frame that are a little farther back that work.

by:

Excellent customer service. Great company to deal with, especially if you have a problem. Prices are very competitive. An all around great experience.

by:

It definitely works but it sits really low and hits the road on occasion in certain circumstances.
5 star on ease of installation though

by:

The only place to purchase hitch for meThis was my fifth hitch order over the years from etrailer and I would not purchase one anywhere else. Nobody beat their price and ease of use on the website make it effortless.
I look forward to doing business wit etrailer for years to come.
Thanks etrailer.

by:

Bolted right up with no modifications that is always a plus. Hitch has a good finish seam to be rust free after a year also a plus.

by:

Great price!! Extra mounting bolts would be nice. Instructions require reusing frame bolts that have already been torqued at factory settings and shouldn't be reused as they have been weakened/stretched once. So all new fasteners would be a plus.

by:

This trailer hitch performed like it should. The staff was very helpful.

by:

Installation went relatively smooth. It might be worth mentioning that an 1-1/4 drill bit is needed for the installation.

by:

It seems to hold, looks nice, took us all morning to get on the vehicle due to not having super clear instructions which was a little frustrating but we managed to figure it out.3 starts due to not having good clear instructions.

I recommend taking a look at the video install that we have on a 2012 Ford Flex. Please see the link below:

by:

Installed easy. Took me about thirty minutes. I got the drill bit I needed from hardware store although it was not of good quality.

by:

Knowledgeable salesman and quick delivery. Best price I could find.

by:

At this point I have not towed my boat however, I can tell you that the installation was a breeze! The written and video directions were right on the money. Simple to follow and easy to do! The fish wire is genius!

Great work CURT!

by:

Once you sent me the instructions for the proper hitch. It took me 30 minutes to install with only lifting the Ford Flex about 14 inches on one side.
Thank you I love you product but appreciate your phone help so much more than anything. Especially considering the instructions in the box for my hitch were for a different model number

by:

Hitch fit perfectly. The bolt kit fit fine. The pieces of wire with coils on one end worked very well (they aided in fishing the bolts up into the frame channel).
My next hitch needs will be from etrailer!

by:

The trailer bolted up perfect. And Jesse was very helpful.

by:

Have been using the hitch with my motorcycle rack that I also purchased from etrailer for about a year now. No issues with anything. Love it.

  • Measurements for Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator
Hi Gary; with that 3-bolt pattern you need the # T63FR instead of the # DX83FR. This matches your DICO Aero 6000 measurements which can bee seen in the diagram below. It doesn't show your 2.70" measurement but if you use the good old Pythagorean theorem you can find that that measurement is the same as what you have.

  • Which Curt Hitch 2016 Ford Flex with Dual Exhaust
I wish there was, but if you look at the difference between the part # 13551 that you have and the Curt hitch that does fit the dual exhaust models part # C13110 you can see there's a pretty huge difference (see attached pictures). I wish I had a great solution for your scenario but the only way you'll be able to install a hitch on your 2016 Ford Flex with dual exhaust is going to be with the Curt hitch # C13110.

  • Will Curt Trailer Hitch for Dual Exhaust Fit Single Exhaust 2010 Ford Flex
Hi Jack; it looks like it will based on the holes in the frame and the installation instructions. However, according to Curt the # C13110 will only fit dual exhaust models. If you have a single exhaust 2010 Ford Flex you need the Curt # 13551 instead.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Ford Flex SEL without Ecoboost
For a 2012 Ford Flex without Ecoboost the correct Curt hitch is # 1355 or the etrailer hitch # e95KR. These hitches are very similar and either would be a great choice. The most popular choice is the Curt # 13551. I would recommend going with the one that costs the least. Curt hitch # C13110 that you referenced is designed to fit the following models: 2009 - 2018 Ford Flex with Dual Exhaust 2010 - 2017 Lincoln MKT with EcoBoost If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer...

According to my research you can tow up to 4,500 lbs with your 2016 Ford Flex if you have the Class III Trailer Towing Package (which looks like it includes a 4/7 Way wiring harness, hitch receiver, trailer sway controller, and an engine oil cooler). • Recommendation on a Hitch, Wiring Harness, Transmission and Oil Cooler for a 2011 Ford Flex
I have a hitch that will work on your 2011 Ford Flex with single exhaust. The Draw-Tite Max Frame Class III Hitch, # 75679, is a custom-fit trailer hitch that is designed for the 2011 Ford Flex. The hitch has a 400 lbs tongue weight capacity and a 4000 lbs gross trailer weight capacity. As long as the weight of the carrier plus the weight of the wheelchair/scooter comes in under the tongue weight capacity of the hitch being used on the vehicle, the fact that the Flex has a unibody won't be relevant. When Curt designed the # C13110 for dual exhaust models and the # 13551 for single exhaust models, they did extensive testing to ensure that the vehicles could handle the tongue load the hitches were rated for.
