The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDRTT1500 that you purchased, or any suspension enhancement for that matter, is designed to help improve your suspension, handling, and safety. These just add some extra cushion to help absorb shock for when you hit bumps or are driving on rough roads.
Since suspension enhancement is meant to compliment your suspension, if your shocks are shot these will not fix the problem. They will work with a suspension system that is in good working order. If you think your shocks are shot you need to get them replaced.
