Totally respected the expert answer. In fact I have another! Will a load range F tire be appropriate on my E rated wheels?!

The ST255/85R16 tires will fit on the same 16x6 inch wheels as the ST235/80R16 tires. There will be a substantial size difference though. It will change your width from 9.25 inches to 10 inches and your overall diameter from 30.79 to 33.1 inches. You will need to make sure that your 2014 Rushmore Monticello 35MC has the clearance for that difference on the internal distance between your frame and the shock absorbing height of your fenders for clearance.

We do not carry tires that are the ST255/85R16 size, but if you determine you just want to upgrade the St 235/80R166 size I recommend the Taskmaster ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # TTWTRTM2358016E. These have a range of 3520 lbs at 80 psi and a speed rating or up to 81 mph.

Wheels are rated for capacity but are not typically given the letter rating. You will need to check the weight capacity of your wheel and compare it with the weight capacity of the tire. You will also need to make sure your valve stem is rated for the proper psi needed to operate your tire at max psi. The Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem - 1-1/4" Long - Over 100 psi # AM20906 will work for any of the tires we carry, where others are limited.
