Question:
The small pin hole is only on one side of the adaptor compared to the large pin hole which is on both sides of the adaptor. Is the small hole threaded for a bolt? Do you sell bolt that will work for this? If not threaded, what type of pin can be used? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The small hole on the part # 853-7292 is designed for attaching it to the shank of a bike rack. The larger hole is for the hitch pin of the rack.
This is a specific fit for a few Thule racks TH954, TH912, and TH914 so if you do not have one of these racks it would not fit.
The bolt that's for the smaller hole is the part # 853-5787-02.
