Does Bumper Need to Be Braced to Install Curt Hitch on 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:
when installing curt 1500 trailer hitch on 2016 1500 silverado video shows taking out 4 factory bolts my question is bumper still tied into truck are there other bolts holding bumper in place?

Yes, when you install the Curt hitch part # C14006 on your 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 the bumper would support itself as you remove the hardware needed. You wouldn't need to brace the bumper.
For more info on the install check out the install video I attached. You'll see we didn't have to brace the bumper.
