Yes, the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31088 is a confirmed fit for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trail Boss. I confirmed this with my contact at Curt for you as well. The Curt Trailer Hitch is a direct bolt-on fit so no drilling is required and it has a hidden design so that only the receiver tube will be shown once installed. The installation process is certainly something you can do at home with just basic tools taking most around thirty minutes to an hour.
The Curt Trailer Hitch will then do an excellent job of helping move a trailer, mounting a winch, or carrying bikes/cargo. I have attached a sample install photo for you although it is not on the Trail Boss.
