Perfect fit, easy installation
etrailer gave very good service at a good price! I couldn’t believe how fast this front hitch for my 2021 Silverado was at my door. It was so easy to install,45 minutes in my driveway, with no issues. Great step by step instructions. I elected to just take the lower valance off and probably leave it off instead of cutting a hole in it, at least for now. This is my third truck that I have had with a front hitch on it and it is so nice for backing my pontoon boat or my 28’ enclosed snowmobile trailer into difficult places! As long as I have a trailer I would not be without a front hitch on my truck. Some people don’t understand “why a front hitch?” They have never used one and if they did they would know and understand why. Thank You etrailer.com
This trailer hitch fit perfect on my 2022 Chevy 1500 Silverado.
I did confirm with a /chevy dealer that the frame on a 2022 Silverado did not change from a 2021 prior to purchasing this hitch.
Installed on my 2020 Silverado in less than an hour. This is my 3rd hitch from E-Trailer. Fast delivery.
Tip: After installing the 7/16 hex flange nuts, I used washers between the 2nd 7/16 nuts to protect the holes in the skid plate.
Also purchased trim for the air dam cut out for a finished look. Heated with hot air gun to make it more plyable.
Installation took about 1.5 hours. Product arrived on time and installed as advertised in directions.
Great deal, fast shipping. I am 65 years old, bad knees, and I put it in by myself. If I can do it, so can you. Save yourself the $200 install fee. It’s easy.

Game changer, making a sharp 90 turn into my storage spot is a no brainer. Super easy, no back and forth moves.
I’d give it 5 stars if the instructions were correct. This model does NOT require trimming of the plastic as the instructions say. Don’t do it. I’ll attach pics. The bumper brackets must be removed in order to get it to fit. That’s not mentioned in the instructions but is on other comments. It’s not hard. It really helps to have two people when lifting and bolting. A small impact wrench is nice too.

I’ve actually stopped using this and went to a full brushguard. It worked well. It does reduce the angle of inclination on approach when off roading. It was very strong though and did well winching.
Great shipping time even with getting a slight delay in Earth City. Hitch arrived in excellent condition. As have all my E Trailer orders,wonderful experience from start to finish.
Nice looking hitch, however the instructions could be improved and the pictures depicting the instructions were almost unable to view.
For what the hitch costs how about some understandable color pics. The reciver is very low @8" off the ground on my 4wd. Could be re designed for more ground clearance. I'm sure ill have problems with the clearance issue

I recommend taking a look at the instruction details link on the product page as this will have colored pictures to reference. I checked and we do not currently offer a hitch that would give higher ground clearance for the 2020 Chevy Silverado 2020.
Installed on my 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. Shipping box was destroyed & poorly packed. Instructions were straightforward. Install took 1 1/2 hrs. I only trimmed the thin trim without cutting the skid plate. The receiver pushes up on the skid plate slightly, but I didn’t want to cut it. Should work great for my E-bikes when pulling the RV.
Solid, well built hitch - My second - new truck. Used to push boat around a corner in to garage.
Going to transport Bicycles with this hitch. Fit good and was not very hard to install. This is my second front mount hitch that I have installed from Curt. Glad there is no drilling involved to install.
The box came damaged, but no big deal. Hard to hurt this. My suggestion to add to the instructions are to also have an 18MM end wrench to go with the 18 MM socket, as the passenger's side bolt on the toe hooks needs a back up to loose. My impact drill/sockets helped a lot. The instructionss for the cut out are a little hard to follow, but I just cut a chunk out at the centerline 3" wide by 2.5" into the back of the air dam and it worked great. You have to get the passenger's side bolt where you removed the nut backed out until it's flush with the frame to get it in place on both sides. It took me a lot longer, but most of the time was lost because I didn't have an 18MM end wrencch, which I ended up going and getting. Electric sawzall worked great for cutting the air dam, and you could probably force the thing into place without cutting this. 2021 GMC Denali PU
A good solid product. I used it for the front of my 2020 Chevy Silverado trailboss for a custom surf fishing rack I built to carry a cooler and rods. Mounted up easy and will never be the weak point for my set-up. Good product.
Very simple install. Go to the online instructions if you want decent pictures but the diagram in the instructions was super helpful. I will say that if you have a trail boss or AT4 you will need to remove two bumper bracket guards. One 18mm bolt and one 10mm bolt holds the guards on. They will not be put back on after the hitch is installed. It took me an hour of trying to fit this thing to figure that out. Then I read it in several reviews and also noticed they were not present in the pics of the installation instructions.
The hitch appears to good and it looks like the installation kit was taped to the hitch
BUT the shipping box was destroyed and poorly taped back together
Super fast shipping,fair price,using the front hitch for a cargo rack for extra storage on a pick up with a slide in camper.
Fairly simple install and the included instructions were accurate. etrailer.com processed and shipped the order quickly. Overall very happy with my purchase.
This was fairly easy to install in just over an hour, without help. Bolted to factory bolts with no drilling. Fit truck and frame perfectly. Works great for my home plow.
For a business that is based on shipping everything they need to learn how to package stuff. Everything I received from a trailer comes damaged at this point.
Took 3 hours to install , hot day, couple mistakes, instructions could have been more detailed, seems to be reasonably strong- time will tell

Would of gave it five stars but on the GMC At4 a (useless unused) bracket on each side of frame had to come off and stay off for it to fit.

I have had this front hitch on my 2022 Chevy truck and it works perfectly. It was easy to install as well.
