Converting a B&W Companion Fixed 5th Wheel Hitch to a Slider Companion for a 2011 Ram 3500

Question:

I have a 2011 dodge mega cab 3500. Use a companion hitch if I change to the slider will i need to put the rails in my bed. Or will the hitch use the B and W turnover hitch in the bed already?

I have great news for you. You will not have to add the in-bed rails to switch your B&W Companion hitch over to a slider. You will just need the slider base and the head that you have now will fit right on it. The slider base you need is # BWRVB3405. It installs in the Turnover Ball hole the same way as the regular Companion. I have included a link to a video on the slider base for you.
