Are 2 Screws Every 24 Inches Enough to Mount a 4 Foot Section of E-Track

Question:
Want to,run horizontal track down sides. Vinyl side walls over 1 x 2 inch .060 aluminum tubing . 24 inch centers. Am thinking 1/4 x 20 self tapping screws. This gives 2 screws every 24 inches.. into structure. Wil this work ? If not what do you suggest?

Expert Reply:
You definitely want to attach the E-Track # E19146 to the support structure of the trailer but given that they are spaced 24 inches apart on your trailer that doesn't provide much of an attachment for a 4 foot section. What I suggest is to attach a longer board the length of the trailer attached to all of the supports and then attach the E-Track to that so that there are more connection points for everything which would be much more stable.
