I have a solution for you, but the Roadmaster # RM-032 is an adapter not a base plate for the 2000 Jeep Cherokee.

I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, # 1418-1, for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee if you already do not have a base plate installed on the vehicle.

This base plate kit will allow you to remove the mounting arms when your are not flat towing the vehicle behind your RV and is compatible with Quick Disconnects and all Roadmaster Tow Bars.

The Roadmaster # RM-032 is tow bar adapter that only mounts to already installed Roadmaster base plates and will allow you to use a different brand tow bars other than a Roadmaster on the vehicle. The adapter will fit Blue Ox Aventa, Aventa II, Aventa LX, Alpha, Ambassador, Kar Bar, Aladdin, Alexxa, and Acclaim tow bars, as well as all Blue Ox A-Frame tow bars with 1 or 3 pronged attachment. Also, Demco Aluminator, Commander, Dominator, Excali-bar and Kwik-Tow tow bars.
