Question:
Is this kit compatible with an in bed hitch?

Expert Reply:
If the 5th wheel hitch install kit brackets that attach to the frame are the universal L-brackets (two per side) then it is possible to use Air Lift air bags # AL88215 on a 1994 Ford F-250/F-350. But it is still possible for there to be interference which is why it is listed in our fit guide as NOT being compatible.
What will work for sure is a set of Timbren springs because the mount to the bottoms of the frame rails and will not interfere with any 5th wheel brackets. If you have an F-250 4x4 use # TFR250SDE. And for a 2-wheel drive F-250 use # TFR150SDE.
For a 2- or 4-Wheel drive F-350 you can use # TFR350SDE. Timbren springs are great because there is no maintenance required, they work independently side to side, and have a limited lifetime warranty.
