Is a Trailer Tire's Load Rating Per Tire or Per Axle

Question:
Is the load rating split between both tires or is it 1100 per tire...I.e. Single axle trailer would be 2200 lbs or do I consider a single axle to be 1100 split between the two tires?

Weight capacity ratings on tires are for that 1 tire. So if you used 2 of # AM3S130 for example the total capacity would be 2,720 pounds total.
