Question:
I am helping a friend who wants to replace her braker controller in her truck. The truck is a 1998 dodge diesel 2500She currently has a Tekonsha voyager (2005 model I think). She wants to switch to the “best seller” Tekonsha prodigy P3. I would think this model is compatible with this truck but would like a second opinion. Do you see any problem that you can think of? She has another problem with her truck. Her left turn signal/brake on her 7 way doesn’t work. The signal works in the truck but not off the 7 way connector. Do you know the reference to buy for a replacement connexion box (the electronic piece that convert the 3 wires from the truck (left signal, right turn signal and brake) to a 2 wires to the 7 way connector (left turn signal +brake and right turn signal + brake

The Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA will work with your existing hubs. This kit comes with both assemblies and they are labeled for installation on the proper side of your trailer. There is a manual adjustment needed at install and then they will self-adjust following that installation.
