2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

This is my first hitch. I decided to go this route after finding out the dealership wanted over 1500 to install rails hitch and plug.
Install was not too aweful bad I did the install in about 4 hours of everything. I took my time so nothing would be screwed up. The install videos where awesome and very discriptive.

  • Will Upgrading To Self-Adjusting Brake Assemblies Require Changing Out Hub/Drum Assemblies?
The Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA will work with your existing hubs. This kit comes with both assemblies and they are labeled for installation on the proper side of your trailer. There is a manual adjustment needed at install and then they will self-adjust following that installation.

  • Looking For B&W Patriot Slider For 2007 Dodge Ram 1500
Hello Luke, thanks for reaching out. The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BW38XR is exactly correct for your 2007 Ram 1500. It comes with the hitch itself, plus the in bed rails, brackets and all hardware. So it is everything you need to install and use the hitch. The only other thing you might want to consider is the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56001 which will add a 7-way plug to the bed of your truck. You will also want a Lube Plate # 16721 if you don't have...

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for an UnderBed Gooseneck Hitch on a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500
I would be happy to help you. The B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3500-5W is only compatible with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # BWGNRK1313. If your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 has a square gooseneck ball receiver in the bed then the B&W Companion will work with your truck. If your truck has a round receiver or one with threads then you will need to either replace that system or use a different 5th wheel hitch. The Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer...

To tow a fifth wheel trailer with your 2007 Dodge Ram with a 6-1/2 foot bed you will need to install base rails in your truck bed in order to mount a Curt sliding hitch. Base rails come with installation kits and there are two different options for an '07 Dodge Ram, depending on the model of your truck; I will list the kits and you can select the right one. Keep in mind these kits come with both the base rails and frame brackets so you do not need to purchase them separately. - 2007 Dodge...

  • 5th Wheel Sliding Hitch Compatibility With Gooseneck Underbed Hitch
With your current gooseneck hitch, you can use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # C16210 that SHOULD be compatible with your gooseneck hitch. Based on all I can research it looks like it will fit, but I can't confirm it because I cannot test it. For your 5th wheel hitch, I recommend a sliding hitch like the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # C16541. You may also want to consider...

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Rail Kit for a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Short Bed Truck
There is actually a set of custom fit 5th wheel rails that will work with your Reese 30038 5th wheel hitch. It is the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # RP56011-53. This rail kit is custom fit and mounts in existing holes in your 2005 Ram 2500's frame. This custom fit option will significantly reduce your installation time. I have linked an installation video below. • No-Drill 5th Wheel Hitch Installation Kit for 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Long Bed
The easiest 5th wheel base rail installation will be with a custom-fit kit. For your 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 long bed we offer the Husky kit # HT31404-686 which does still require some frame drilling for installation but less than universal kits like # RP30035. We do offer other kits that do not require any frame drilling. These are the B&W Underbed Installation Kit # BWGNRK1394-5W that works with their Companion 5th wheel hitch # BWRVK3500-5W. All four manufacturers, Demco, Husky, Curt, and Reese are great companies that have been in the 5th wheel towing business for a long time. I would have no problem recommending any of them for a towing setup. Since your 1999 Dodge Ram has a 6 foot bed you will need a sliding 5th wheel hitch to give you extra turning clearance for those tight turning situations. The best 5th wheel sliding hitch that we have to offer is from Demco. The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch enables you...

The one I recommend is the B&W kit # BWGNRK1394. An install video is provided. For your 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel 4x4 pickup you can use Curt Universal Base Rail Kit # C16200 as long as the truck does not have overload brackets. Universal kits cost a little less but they require more drilling and a longer overall installation time. The fastest and easiest 5th wheel base rail installation comes from using a custom-fit kit # C16420-204 that includes custom frame brackets that use existing holes in the frame. This means a lot less drilling. Semi-Custom kit # C16301-200...

Actually, B & W Hitch offer a reasonably priced 5th wheel bracket/rail kit that works with industry standard rail compatible hitches like your Husky. I'd recommend the # BWRVR3200 install kit. The bed rails are compatible with hitches from Reese, Draw-Tite, Husky, Curt , B & W, Demco and Valley among others. If you don't already have a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed, you can install one using part # C56001

No adapter will solve this. However, there is still a way to allow you to tow a gooseneck trailer using a 5th wheel rail kit. You have a couple options. • Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch and Installation Kit for 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab Pickup
The main benefit of a 5th wheel hitch that has a 4-way pivoting head is easier hitching and un-hitching. The ability to pivot in all directions means the head will be better able to shift as required to accept the king pin, and of course to release it too. Ride quality is not so much a benefit of this feature. Since your trailer has a Lippert Turning Point pivoting pin box for improved turning clearance you can use a fixed (non-sliding and non-cushioned) type 5th wheel hitch. For an above-bed...
