Question:
I have a 2010 dodge ram 3500 dually. The previous owner replaced the rear bumper with a ranch hand legend bumper. There was no receiver hitch on it. I was told that a draw tite 41929 would fit the truck but the receiver part would be below the oem hitch receiver. Will it? Is there something that wont be so low?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # 41929 will sit 9 inches from the bottom of the vehicle frame rails to the top of the receiver tube. This will work well with the ranch hand bumper you have and won't make the drop seem so drastic.
If you go with a hitch that is not for the OEM hitch receiver installed, you can use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # 14361 which measures 6-1/2 inches from the frame to the top of the reciever.
