Recommended Adapter For 2009 Volvo XC90 To Tow 2017 Airstream Sport 22 With LED Lights

Question:
Hi, Im going to be towing an 2017 Airstream Sport 22foot travel trailer with my 2009 Volvo XC90. It has the tow package installed by the dealer. Unfortunately it says it does not support trailers with LED lights. The Airstream has LED. Ive read online that there needs to be resistors installed or something. Being experts at this sort of thing, do you guys have a workable solution for this? I am in Massachusetts, south of Boston. Thanks,

We have an adapter that may take care of the problem with LED lights on your new Airstream. I recommend using the Tow Ready Trailer Connector Adapter, part # 20142. This adapter bypasses the vehicle lamp-out sensor so you can tow a trailer with LED lights.
This adapter simply plugs into the 7-way on your Volvo and you plug your trailer connector from the trailer into it.
