How do I use the cleat with a rope?

The Tie-Down Cleat, part # TA01-27046, is designed to be attached to a TracRac ladder rack or headache racks.
To use a rope with it you will loop the rope through the posts of the cleat and secure it by tying a knot. For securing loads to your ladder rack with a rope I recommend going online for the instructions that explain how to tie a trucker's hitch knot. This knot has been used for many years when truckers want to secure loads safely.
