Question:

Im interested in installing heavy duty shackles on my 2018 Sundance 5th wheel. I have seen some discussion regarding Lippert never fail bushings versus wet bolts. Also in other question discussions, you have recommended never fail bushings over wet bolts. I cannot find any heavy duty shackles without wet bolts. Can you use never tail bushings with Morryde or any other manufacturers heavy duty shackles that are made with wet bolts?

Never Fail Bushings have been discontinued, though they should not be used with wet bolts like the Wet Equalizer Bolt # 126B2 or # 34007-187-00.

The lubricant would actually cause the bushings to degrade so the better course of action would be to use those wet bolts with bronze bushings like # K71-291-00.
