Several months ago, I purchased: Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 3K to 6K, Item # LC279687. I am starting my installation. But, I am confused about what bolts I need? Ill appreciate your direction about the bolts.

Expert Reply:
You will need at least 10 bolts for the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687, and those bolts are the Zinc Shackle Bolt with Locknut for Double-Eye Springs # TRFA73Z916DLNZ.
The reason I say "at least" 10 is because you would need additional bolts if you wanted to replace the bolts that attach your leaf springs to your hangers. What I recommend is getting all of the necessary bolts, shackle straps and nuts with one kit that is designed to work with the Equa-Flex, the Lippert Components Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit # LC64FR.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out of this kit.

I have a 2002 27' Laredo by Keystone 5th wheel RV with a carrying capacity of 2399 lbs. It has been recommended to me to look into the Lippert equa-flex cushioned equalizer. The more I read the descriptions of the 279687 and the 696740 the more I became confused as to which one would be best for my application; or if either one would be the answer.
