Recommended Longer Wet Bolts for a Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit

Updated 02/06/2026 | Published 02/04/2026

Question:

With these down axle spring kits with the extra steel thicknesses added to each side do they require a longer bolt than 3 inches as I am thinking while I have this apart I might want to install greaseable bolts but cannot find any ones longer ones. Thanks

Hey Rick, welcome back. If you don't want to use the bolts included with the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit item # RR23QX or item # RR55QX, you can replace them with the 3-3/8" Replacement Wet Shoulder Bolt item # MR52HR. Using two of these will replace the bolts that hold your equalizers onto the brackets attached to the spring hangers.

It's highly recommended to replace you suspension bolts when you take your leaf springs and equalizer apart. MORryde makes a couple of kits specifically designed for the Correct Track item # RR23QX or item # RR55QX. If you have 2-1/4" shackles you need the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers w Correct Track item # MR58ZR. If you have 3-1/8" shackles you'll need the item # MR98ZR instead.

How long are you shackle straps?

Jarred gives an excellent answer to your question. I have replaced my entire suspension including an axle flip, I utilized the wet bolts as I use grease-able fittings on everything I can even to the point of drilling and tapping holes to insert Zerk fittings.

The bolts that come with the kit work fine
