So i purchased this part but since both ends are exactly the same, how is it an extension? the existing RV plug is the same as both ends of this part so I cant connect one end to the trailer and one end to the truck. Need a little help here

The part 50-67-210 really would be considered more of an "umbilical" adapter between two 7-way sockets like what are used in flat towing.
What you are in need of is more of an extension which would have a plug on one end and a socket on the other.
You could cut off one of the plugs and then wire the harness to the # HM48480 and have more of a traditional extension.
Or wire the # HM48480 to the # A10-7W8 instead.
