Question:
Im trying to replace the brake system on a triple axle boat trailer with the same components. Trailer has a Dico Model 10 and Kodak 225 disks on two axels. Will the model 10 actuator work with disk brakes? Sounds like, from what Ive read on your website, its designed for drum brakes.

Expert Reply:
The Titan Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 10 and Model 20 Brake Actuators - Disc, # T4749501042 will work with disc brakes if you are looking to rebuild your actuating coupler. The Dico Master Cylinder 23744 is only compatible with drum brakes. If you are looking to replace it you will want the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator w/ Drop, Lockout Shield - Disc - 2-5/16" Ball - 12,500 lbs # T4750620 also made for disc brake application.
You do want to ensure you get the actuator made for disc brakes versus drum brakes.
