Question:
I need to install my Prodigy 90885 into my 2007 FJ Cruiser and feed everything into a 7-pin output. I already have a 3015-P adapter that came with my Prodigy. Thanks!

Installation of a brake controller on your 2007 FJ Cruiser will require hard wiring with a Brake Controller 7- & 4-Way Installation Kit, item # ETBC7. We have detailed instructions, see link, and a video installation, see links, of this kit and a brake controller being installed on a 2008 FJ Cruiser for you to review.
If your FJ does not have a 4-Way trailer connector installed you will also need to install a T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, item # 118405, prior to wiring the brake controller install kit on your vehicle. I have posted a link to the installation instructions for this wiring harness for you also.
When testing, with a circuit tester, item # PTW2993, for the brake switch wire to connect the red wire from the brake controller, you will need to find the wire with power only when the brake pedal is pressed. On the 2008 model, the wire is green with a yellow stripe, but you should test to be sure this is the correct wire on your vehicle.
There is not a port installed from the factory for use of a brake controller wiring adapter like the Tekonsha Wire Replacement for GM Vehicles, item # 3015-P that you purchased. You will need to use the adapter included with the brake controller that has blunt cut wires on one end, for wiring to the brake controller to the install kit wiring.
