How Does Air Lift Wireless Remote part # AL73002 Get Joined to Compressor

Question:

Hi I recently got a new phone and was trying to connect my android phone to the air lift manifold. But the app keeps saying that my new phone is not able to connect. I did some research and read that I should ground the manifold to out it into learning mode. Im not sure exactly where to do this and dont want to mess anything up. Can you help me and let me know in detail what I should do.. thanks

You will want to set the manifold to "join" mode by grounding the yellow join wire and then cycling power to the manifold.

That means take the yellow wire and touch it to a ground like the frame of the vehicle or run a wire to the negative post of the battery.

The controller can be put into "join" mode by pressing the Up and Down buttons together, selecting the M1 button when the display flashes "JOIn" and then selecting either the front of rear axle. The installation instructions will offer greater detail to this process.
