Recommended Ski and Snowboard Rack For Limited Roof Rack Space

Question:
Can the Thule 575 racks carry 1 snow board and 1 set of skis? Looks like it could possibly if you put the 2 skis on one side and the board on the other with the bindings facing opposite. I have limited roof rack space on my Tahoe with my cartop carrier box.

The Thule Snowboard Rack with Locks - Space Saving Design you referenced has been discontinued and could not hold skis. The locking cable was designed only for use with snowboards and would not allow you to go tight enough to secure skis from bouncing around.
My recommendation for your limited space is the Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Locking - 3 Skis or 2 Boards # RR573. This rack has an external measurement of 18-1/2 inches and and internal measurement of 12-13/16 inches.
