SnowPack 6 Skis or 4 Boards

The Thule SnowPack lets you carry up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards on the roof of your vehicle. The low-profile carrier adjusts to the size of your skis and snowboards to reduce the height of the rack, and it installs quickly and easily with the SpeedLink mounting system. 2 sets of T-track extensions let you raise the carrier to accommodate skis and boards with tall bindings. And large push-button releases make it easy to load and unload, even with gloves on.

Vertical Spring System

Vertical Spring System

The SnowPack's smart vertical spring system gives the carrier a low profile and improves aerodynamics. The spring system adjusts to the thickness of the skis or snowboards you're loading and only raises the top of the carrier as high as needed to secure your gear. Similarly, when unloaded the spring system compresses to reduce the overall carrier height.

Ultra-Soft Rubber Liner

The spring system is made of an ultra-soft rubber that secures your skis and snowboards in place. The rubber lines the top and bottom of the arms and protects your gear from being scratched or scuffed by the carrier.

SpeedLink Mounting System

SpeedLink Mounting System

The carrier installs with the SpeedLink universal mounting system. Simply set the carrier on top of your crossbars and run the stainless steel straps under them. Then hook the straps onto the brackets on the other side of the mounting assembly and tighten them down with the turn knob.

2 Sets of Raisers

T-Track Raisers

The SnowPack comes with 2 sets of T-track raisers to protect your roof from skis or snowboards with tall bindings. To install, slide the channel bolts into your crossbar's T-track and snap the raisers onto the bottom of the carrier. Then set the carrier on your crossbars, running the channel bolts up through the holes in the raisers. Lastly, remove the pad inside the carrier and then tighten the cam levers to the channel bolts and throw the cam levers.

2 Sets of Raisers

The 2 sets of raisers can be used individually or together, depending on the size of the gear you're transporting.

Oversized Push-Buttons

Oversized Push-Buttons

The carrier opens with oversized push-buttons on the end of each arm. The large buttons release with a natural upward motion, so they're easy to operate even while wearing heavy, winter gloves.

One-Key Security

One-Key Security

The SnowPack comes equipped with Thule's One-Key System. The locks in the carrier's arms and the SpeedLink mounting assembly are all keyed alike, so you'll only have to keep track of one key. One-Key System lock cylinders can be swapped out to make all of your Thule gear keyed alike.

  • Compatibility of SeaSucker Monkey Bars and Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier
The catch to using accessories with round bars like the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B you referenced is that you need to have the unit the accessory is meant to hold installed so that they don't fall over. What you are experiencing with the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7326 is perfectly normal with round bars and shouldn't be an issue once you have the skis/snowboards in place.

  • Does the Kuat Grip T-Channel Mounting Kit Keep You From Using The Pitch Adjustment Feature?
You will loose the adjustable pitch feature on the Kuat Grip # GRR4B when using the T-Channel Mount Kit # GRDMK because the adjustable pitch happens on the clamping feet only. With that being said, unless you're worried about the clearance between your roof and the skis/snowboard or want to mount to the T-Channels, you won't need to use the T-Channel kit. While the Kuat Grip is 4-1/2" tall and the SnowPack # TH7326 is 3-1/2" tall, I don't think that you'll find a noticeable difference in...

  • Thule Square Bar Adapters for Ski Rack
Hey, Andrew! What model of carrier do you have? I was comparing it to the racks that are compatible with the Thule square adapter part # TH8897 and they didn't look to be the same. If its not Thule SnowPack (part # TH7326B, part # TH7324, and part # TH7326) or the SnowPack Extender (part # TH7325 and part # TH7324B) it wont attach appropriately. That could be why you're seeing some movement but hard to know till I get confirmation. The replacement M6 bolt that would be used is part #...

  • Can The Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier Hold Two Skis and Two Snowboards at the Same Time
Yes, you should be able to carry two snowboards and two pairs of skis on the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier, item # TH7326, as long as the width of one of each of the skis and the widest snow board are not wider than the inside width of the carrier. I went out to the warehouse and measured the inside width of the Thule SnowPack and the inside width is 30 inches.

  • How Much Height Does the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier Add
Hey Ed, The Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7326 is going to add 5-1/8" to the top of your vehicle, when using the universal mounting kit that has the straps. This measurement was taken from the top inside of the mounting kit to the rivet at the very top of the arm (see attached photo).

  • Correct Replacement T-Bolt for a Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier
If you have the Thule SnowPack # TH7324 or # TH7326 then you can use the Replacement M6 x 55mm T Bolt for Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # 1500052620 to attach to your crossbars. However, If you have a different Thule ski rack feel free to let me know what you have and I can check and see if we have the correct hardware.

  • Replacement Thule SpeedLink for Snowpack Board/Ski Carrier
For your Thule Snowpack # TH7326 the correct SpeedLink replacement is the part # 7521241001 which is the 13 mm model. The 20 mm model part # 7521241002 is same thing but with taller mounting stud. You might measure to be sure but yours SHOULD use the 13 mm setup.

  • How to Mount a Thule Ski Rack on the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform # RR42114BF
Yes, you can mount a Thule ski rack, like the SnowPack # TH7326, to the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform # RR42114BF by using accessory bars. These come in a 24" length # RR43232B or a 48" length # RR43137B. The 48" bars will be about 10" wider than the platform itself so if the mounting locations on your Thule ski rack are adjustable or mount within 24" I recommend going with the shorter option.

Thank you for the photo of your Thule ski carrier that looks much like their SnowPack # TH7326. The ski carrier hardware shown in your photo appears to be for mounting it on Thule square crossbars. You may be able to mount this on your Vault rack without any other parts. Unscrew the plastic wing knob and then try to remove the T-bolt from that square bracket assembly. If you can remove it you can then test-fit the T-bolt in the top channel on your Vault bars. If it fits securely you can...

  • Replacing Speed-Link Hardware on a Thule Rooftop Ski Carrier
I reached out to Thule and unfortunately they do not offer replacement speed-link hardware for their Ski carriers and Part # 7533998 is not compatible, as it is intended for the older FlatTop models. If you'd want to replace the carrier, I'd recommend the Thule SnowPack carrier, part # TH7326. • Will the Speedlink Mounting Kit Work On a Thule FlatTop Ski Carrier
The correct replacement mounting clamps/hardware for a Thule FlatTop Ski Carrier is the Mounting Kit part # 7533998. The Speedlink Mounting Kit part # 7521241001 is not a fit nor is there a similar option. In order to use these mounting clamps you'll need to upgrade the carrier to the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier like part # TH7326.

The Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Low Profile - Locking - 6 Skis or 4 Boards - Silver # TH7326 is compatible with the Yakima Jet Sream Crossbars like # Y00426. The Jetstream bars are 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall with T-slot dimensions of 1" wide x 1/2" tall. You will need to determine if you are using the SpeedLink Mounting Hardware or the T-slot hardware. • How Does the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier Hold 4 Snowboards
On the Thule SnowPack ski and snowboard carrier # TH7326 you would stack 2 boards, bottom to bottom and another set of 2, bottom to bottom. The straps on the Thule SnowPack ski carrier # TH7326 are called the Speed-Link system. • Recommended Way to Transport Fishing Rods
The Thule SnowPack ski and snowboard carrier # TH7326 will handle thicknesses up to about 1-1/4 inches. Because the inside portion is made of soft rubber, I think it would work fine transporting fishing rods without any damage. It will fit round, square, aero/elliptical and most factory crossbars. The Pull Top is 34-1/2 inches wide so it should leave room on your roof rack to transport a surfboard. Depending on how many fishing rods you will be transporting, a pretty neat alternative is...

Yes, the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7326 can also carry ski poles. Then for a Thule roof rack that fits your 2023 Kia Sportage we have the Wingbar Edge part numbers # TH36FE, # TH89SC, and # TH186013 which would work really great. It's a flush bar setup which means the bars do not extend through the feet of the rack and also the bars are aero shaped which helps minimize wind noise.

I do have an option for you but I think it's time for you to upgrade your ski carrier as there is not an adapter to use the Thule NOS Ski Carrier with aero crossbars. Instead, I recommend the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier part # TH7326 which can carry up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards, it has locks for security, and it will work with aero crossbars.

The Thule SnowPack Ski & Snowboard Carrier - 6 Skis or 4 Boards # TH7326 is a fit for round crossbars. It will work fine on the round bars of your Adventure Rack Basket if they are similar to the 1-1/8 inch diameter of a roof rack crossbar. For your application I recommend using the Yakima FatCat EVO, Black # Y03096, over the Thule SnowPack, Black # TH7326B or Silver # TH7326, because the FatCat EVO has a piece of rubber on the top of the mounting feet to help keep it in place while the SnowPack is only a plastic piece. With that being said, most (if not all) ski carriers will rotate some on round bars when the skis aren't installed.
