Question:

I am looking for a tongue jack to put on a rebuild job of an old trailer. It must have an outside diameter of no more than 1 7/8. It will go up through the bottom of the tongue and bolt to the underside of the tongue. I would appreciate any help.

None of the jacks we offer have tube dimensions that would be small enough to fit the bottom support plate on your trailer that is 1-7/8 inches in diameter.

The best recommendation I could make would be to install a new bottom support plate like part # BD003135 so that you could use a jack like the etrailer Jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced. For a foot plate you would want part # JF-99.
