Question:

Is there a single receiver with a 2 -3 inch drop available? I dont need the dual. I need the drop to use my existing cargo basket on my jeep. The spare tire wont clear it, I need about a 2 inch drop. Ive seen some singles but they have 5-7 inch drop , which is too much.

You can use Roadmaster high/low adapter # RM-072-2 which offers a 2 inch drop. However, the use of this adapter (or any adapter) reduces the tongue weight capacity if the hitch by 50 percent. So for example if your hitch is rated for 350 pounds tongue weight it is reduced to 175 pounds when using an adapter. So the combined weight of your cargo carrier and the cargo cannot exceed the reduced capacity.
