Moving Leaf Springs from Below the Trailer Axle to the Top of the Axle

I have a old cattle trailer the leaf spring are about 3inch off the ground how can get the up higher. The oersin i get it from has 14inch car tires on it

If the leaf spring stack is currently attached below the axle, which is what it sounds like, then you can use an over/under conversion kit. If the axle is 3 inches in diameter then you can use # K71-385-00. If the axle is 2-3/8 inches in diameter use # K71-384-00.
If you do not have a round axle or if the diameter is bigger than 3 inches or smaller than 2-3/8 inches then you can raise the height be welding new spring seats to the top of the axle.
I am not sure why they would have put car tires on a trailer. Car tires should not be used on a trailer because they are not constructed properly for trailer use. Trailer tires are built with a thicker sidewall to handle more vertical load. I have included a link to our help article on trailer tires for you.
