Question:
Is this type of kit compatible with the 2016 HONDA CIVIC SEDAN ? Your website shows it is compatible with the 2015 so I am hoping it is for the 2016 also. Thanks.

We do have a wiring kit that will work with your 2016 Civic but they require hardwiring the harness on your vehicle. Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C56011 is not a confirmed fit for your 2016 Civic.
The harness I recommend for your Civic is the Tekonsha # 118686.
