When your trailer sits too low, everything from braking to steering feels off. This drawbar gives you a solid 4" rise so smaller trailers line up level with your tow vehicle. The 9" length from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole gives you plenty of room for a clean connection that tracks straight and stable on the road.
For light-duty hauls like small campers or utility trailers, dependable strength matters more than fancy hardware. This Curt Class I drawbar is built from sturdy steel and rated for 2,000 lbs gross towing weight with a 200 lbs tongue weight. It’s a solid match for everyday towing where safety and consistency come first.
Weather, road salt, and grime can wear down a hitch fast, but this one is built to handle it. The steel shank has a corrosion-resistant black gloss powder coat finish that keeps rust at bay and looks clean after repeated use. The surface goes through a 7-stage washing process so the coating sticks smooth and even for long-term durability.
Sometimes simple is best. This fixed ball mount design keeps your towing setup straightforward—no moving parts or knobs to mess with. It fits any 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver and works only in the rise position for consistent height every time. Pair it with a hitch ball that has a 3/4" shank, add your pin and clip or lock (sold separately), and you’re ready to go.

Theres actually two reasons why we dont mention subtracting an addition inch. 1 The rear of the vehicle will sag by a certain amount generally an inch or so when the trailer is hitched up and 2 The trailer doesnt need to be exactly level. As long as youre within an inch or two, youll be just fine.

Hi Newton, Thanks for your feedback! I would recommend using an anti-rattle device to keep the ball mount from moving around in the receiver. The Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 1.25 inch Trailer Hitches, part RM-061-125 , will work for your hitch.
