Question:
Looking for details on running the wire to battery on 2016 Sonic hatchback. Completed the install of the T connectors and control box. Only downside was the green plastic panel retainers from GM P/N 13252119 are fragile and cost $6 each if you can find them. I broke 4. Running the heavy wire to the front presents additional problems. I am concerned about pulling any additional interior panels and breaking more of the very expensive plastic retainers. I dont think running the wire under the car would be a good idea even though a couple dozen tie-wraps would cost less than a single GM panel retainer. Any hints or pictures? Where did you run the wire?

Although we do not have a video showing the installation of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C56303, on a Sonic, I have attached a helpful article that explains the different methods for running a hot lead wire to a vehicle battery.
In most cases you can run the wire through a grommet to get the wire beneath the car. I understand running the power wire under the vehicle is not appealing but you can use wire loom like part # 7509-10 so the wire is protected under the car. You are correct that some tie-wraps would be much less expensive than replacing the panel clips. if you want to use clamps we offer those as a separate item as well. You would need part # A0250.
